Our Personal Story
While on vacation on Saturday, October 13, 2018 the owner of Carolina Power & Generators, Gary Bullard, got a call that would change everything. Being over 200 miles away from home, there was nothing he could as his home burned to the ground. This fire started at the meter box and continued its path of destruction with no mercy. Taking all of their memories, photos, documents, valuables and much more with it. Since this catastrophe, Gary has performed extensive research in order to protect the next place they will call home. Carolina Power & Generators has since teamed up with Ting, to not only protect our homes but to give you, our customers, the same opportunity to protect you and your families as well. Ting is the most significant fire safety innovation since the smoke alarm. Had we known about Ting beforehand, they could completely avoided any damage-Thanks to the 24/7 monitoring of the homes electrical system. Customers receive real-time notifications regarding the health of their homes electrical system and things connected to it. Unfortunately, our Carolina Power & Generators family had to learn the importance of electrical monitoring the hard way.
